Follow Up to Pune Report

Last month I shared about what God is doing in Pune, India and asked for your prayers for a Healing Crusade that was to take place in early April. We just received the following update from Ps. Lucky, our leader in India who was also the speaker at the Healing Crusade.

After almost three days of traveling, I arrived in Pune. We held a Healing and Gospel Crusade for two days on 3-4 April. Around 400 people attended. It was a real tough time with strong spiritual warfare but even then 150 people accepted the Lord. The Crusade being the first of its kind caused much excitement amongst the people. God healed many people as the days progressed. I found that I also had to deal mainly with people being possessed with evil powers. On the second day before the meeting a 12 year-old boy was brought in for prayer. As we started to pray the manifestation started and we had to struggle in spritual warfare for more than three hours. But we thank the Lord that he was delivered! He belonged to a Thapa family, which has over 50 members... all related by birth or marriage. The lady who was healed of a cancerous tumor behind her ear recently was also part of this extended family. As a result, most of the 50 members accepted Christ, and they are all getting ready for baptism.

We also visited a cancer patient who was given a month to live by the doctor. The family members are Hindus and are very much concerned and afraid. During the visit, the man accepted the Lord and asked for forgiveness for his sins. After that we prayed for him. The following day, the report came that he slept very well and he could pass urine which was his main problem and cause of worry. He also started eating and seemed to be recovering in a progressive way. The family is very very happy and thankful.

Our God is a Wonderful God. Many questions may arise but in words I think I may not be able to explain everything. But I can say that it is my experience of the spiritual realm. Praise be to God.
