Mighty Healings

In Kalchini, northern India, a young man has been lying in bed completely paralyzed for the past two years. He is from the Adibasi tribe. His family have tried everything for his healing, but had no success.

Recently Sajan (Ps. Samuel's son and a coworker of Asian Outreach) was visiting the area, and came to know about this young man. So everyday Sajan and Ps. Samuel began visiting him, to pray for him and provide massages to his limbs. After just four days the young man could move his legs and sit up with some help. But the family decided to take him to visit a witchdoctor for further treatment. The medicine the witchdoctor provided had some serious side effects. The young man was reduced to his original condition, plus his legs were swollen and rashes covered his entire body.

Ps Samuel visited again, and insisted that if he really believed in Jesus Christ he could be healed completely. After a week the young man started to move his legs without any problems, and he could turn around by himself. The parents are very happy and now they want to become Christians. Praise be to God.

This is just one of many miracles the team in northern India have witnessed as they spread the gospel in unreached area. This week Ps John Phipon from Birpara is arranging for the baptism of five Nepalese families, of between 15-20 people. Ps Samuel is also preparing three or four families for baptism.
