Ae Accepts Christ

Ae had an appointment to go out to dinner with Rachel last night. She came an hour earlier and asked to talk to Opal. She had spent the whole day at work looking on the community website at different religions, including Buddhism and Christianity. Ae started crying as soon as she began talking to Opal, and Opal really felt the presence of the Holy Spirit. Within the hour Ae had accepted Jesus into her life. Ae said she is still confused but wants to know God. She is eager to learn more about Him.

Fact File:
• Ae has been a student at The Centre for 10 years.
• She is 28 years old.
• On the weekends she works as a tour guide. Many of you probably had her as your
guide when you went hiking, elephant riding, and bamboo rafting.
• She is fluent in English.
• She was a very strong Buddhist, as is her family.
• One of her favorite English karaoke songs is “I Will Survive.”
• Her boyfriend is a Christian.

Dream has been a fun presence at The Centre for about 3 months now. He is a lot of fun to be around and a lot of the staff and volunteers have gotten to talk to him about God. Yesterday in his class Heather, a two month volunteer, pointed out a Buddhist prophesy that pointed to Jesus. She followed up with the class by telling them about how Jesus died for all of us. That night he went out with Raef, another volunteer. He asked Raef, “Why did Jesus have to die?” Raef proceeded to talk to him for two hours. When they were done Dream said that he felt something different in his heart. His heart felt full. Please pray that we will be able to follow up with Dream and he will accept Christ.
