When we grow up we want to be Doctors.
Meet Vishal and Tika. They are two brothers from the jungles of India, who, despite devastating circumstances, can attend Toribari Primary School thanks to Asian Outreach India, who runs the school and subsidizes their school expenses.
The greatest of gifts for Bhutanese Christians
The very first complete Bible in the Dzongkha language (the national language of Bhutan) is now ready for printing. The local believers are so excited at the possibility of being able to read the Bible in their heart language. They are requesting help to print 3000 copies at USD10 per copy. The Bhutan church fellowships want to partner in this project and have committed to match all donations raised dollar for dollar.
Please designate gifts to Bhutan Bibles and send your gift to Asian Outreach International, GPO Box 3448, Hong Kong.
Along the road in Kathmandu
Recently our home for abandoned children in Nepal was inspected by the District Child Welfare Council. Four officials (two officers and two journalists) were sent by the Council, and by coincidence they met 10 of our younger children as they were walking home after school. The officials realized these children were from the Home they were going to inspect, so they began to question them as they walked along the road.
